Here are some pointing photos I got this past year of a few Illinois Birddog Rescue dogs and also some lovely dogs from some field trial events. Our cover dog is Shelly-- a very emaciated, sickly Pointer we saved from an over crowded shelter in southern Illinois. I'll never forget how thin and yellow stained her fur was besides the sores she had on her legs. With a few months of TLC she filled out and she looked amazing on the pheasant we let her scent point.
